  • The 1st Testing Certification Forum and Association Prize

  • On December 8th 2016, KOTICA (The Korea testing and inspection certification association) opened “2016 Testing Certification Forum with the government agency, KATS (Korea Agency for Technology and Standards). The forum, which was held for the first time in the field of test certification, was attended by more than 120 experts in the test and certification industry, including Chung Dong-hee, President of KATS (Korea Agency for Technology and Standards) and Han Jun-ho, President of KOTICA. Presentation and discussions were held on how to improve the system and how to cooperate with the public in the field of test and certification.

    CERINS (CERINS KOREA) is as a certification body of product safety certification of Russian CIS countries. Providing high quality services to South Korea cooperation and widening its business areas are CERINS’s core components. KOTICA (The Korea testing and inspection certification association) regards CERINS’s contribution and awarded the Association Prize.

    The forum had five topic presentations about increasing Korea’s certification market and trends in the world certification and testing field.

    1. Status and Tasks of Korea’s Test Certification market.

    2. Legislative measures to strengthen competitiveness of test/certification market.

    3. China’s test certification market status and Korea-China cooperation plan

    4. Success and failure cases of KTR overseas advancement

    5. Human resource development task to revitalize test certification market.
